Last week, I hosted a potluck for the
Baltimore Choice Avengers and it was a blast. The food was absolutely delicious and I met and re-met some really awesome pro-choice people. I also learned about a
great event that was this Sunday to thank and honor Dr. Carhart for his work (now in Maryland- I'm so proud!). Overall, it was a big success. And it also helped me make my resolutions for 2011 regarding my pro-choice activism. I'm going to be moving to NYC soon, so I'll be going through some major changes. I think it is really important for me to have these concrete goals to make sure I'm helping the movement I care about.
Calling NYC pro-choicers...
Speaking of moving to NYC, I'd love suggestions on what organizations to get involved in and where/how to meet awesome people. Does a pro-choice social/activism group like the Choice Avengers exist in NYC (or Queens, where I'll be living)? If not, I've got to start one... will you join me?
